Fair questions
Asked, answered, and put in writing
Handing someone your pets and your house keys deserves straight answers. Here are the questions everyone (sensibly) asks.
Can I really trust someone I've never met with my home?
You never have to — because you meet first. Every new client starts with a free meet & greet in your home: your pets size Kim up, you ask anything you like, and nothing gets booked until you're comfortable.
And it's the same person every time — Kim herself, not a rotating roster from an app.
What happens if my pet gets sick or hurt while I'm away?
There's a written plan before there's ever a problem. At the meet & greet, Kim records your vet, your preferred emergency clinic, and how you want decisions made.
You set a vet-care spending cap up front, so there's never a surprise bill or a decision made over your head.
Will I actually know how my pets are doing?
Yes — photo pupdates land in your messages while you're away, so you're never left wondering.
See what those look like on the pupdates page. If anything ever seems off — appetite, behavior, anything — you hear about it immediately, not in a recap.
How do you handle keys, alarm codes, and cameras?
Exactly the way you say to — written down at approval, followed to the letter. Key handoff, lockbox, smart lock, alarm arm/disarm, parking, off-limits rooms: your instructions are the manual.
Those details are collected only after a booking is approved, stored encrypted, shown to no one else, and never sent by email. Cameras? Your home, your rules — tell Kim where they are and she'll wave.
How is this different from Rover or Wag?
The apps sell you a marketplace; this is a person. You get the same insured sitter every time — someone your pets already know — with no platform fees taken out of either side.
On price: published rates here are comparable to what local Rover sitters actually cost once Rover's roughly 11% client service fee is added on. The difference isn't the money — it's who shows up.
How does booking and payment work?
You send a request with your dates and pets, Kim confirms personally (new clients start with the free meet & greet), and every request shows an estimate from the published rates. No payment is taken online — you settle directly with Kim. Deposit and scheduling details live on the policies page.
Didn't see your question? No question is too fussy — that's the whole point.
